By far the demographic most adversely affected by the unrest in Bahrain over the past four years has been the security forces. Most of these courageous men have been killed by explosive devices planted by terrorists, which also resulted in the injury of dozens of police and civilians over this period.

Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of these brave individuals who died protecting the public and who were targeted through no fault of their own.

Time after time, bomb making materials have been traced back to Iran. Many of the terrorist groups which have claimed responsibility for such attacks have close links with Iran and received training from Hezbollah and the Republican Guards, numerous shipments of explosives and arms originating from Iran have been impounded on Bahraini soil.

In the face of mounting irrefutable evidence that Iran is waging a sustained campaign to promote terrorism and instability in Bahrain, the world should take serious action.
