Russian state TV channel has a strong track record of broadcasting hostile reports about Bahrain. Many of their reports are remarkably similar to those of the Iranian media; portraying an exaggerated and often dishonest viewpoint of events inside the Kingdom.

However, this is one video from Russia Today that we recommend that you do watch. Russia Today usually implies that Bahraini protesters are peacefully demonstrating for their rights. The shocking images here tell a very different story:

You can see for yourselves showers of hundreds of Molotov Cocktails raining down on unarmed and undefended policemen and major streets blocked by violent rioters terrorizing those people living in the locality.

We would say that this video is shocking. However, we have been living with this reality for three years and this video of only one example of the hundreds published on the internet by opposition thugs boasting about their attacks on police that have resulted in hundreds of police injuries over the past year and numerous police deaths caused by terrorist explosions.

It hardly needs saying that Russia’s suspicious concerns for the human rights of Bahraini militants doesn’t compare comfortably with their arming of the murderous Assad regime in Syria or their military incursions into eastern Ukraine. Nevertheless, on this occasion we thank Russia Today for inadvertently showing the violent and dangerous nature of opposition extremists.
